Donna M. Salvatore, CEO & Founder at Megalytics

CEO & Founder

Donna M. Salvatore

Donna M. Salvatore founded Megalytics to help key stakeholders in commercial real estate advance their data analytics capabilities. Megalytics is a trusted partner to major commercial real estate firms, supporting underwriting and investment decisions from development and acquisition through asset management and disposition. Donna is recognized as a pioneer in bringing together large and small, disparate data sources not previously used in commercial real estate.

Donna has a 23-year track record of launching and growing businesses in data analytics and technology, with successful exits across real estate, healthcare, facilities management, energy and customer services.

She earned a BS in Chemical Engineering from Case Institute of Technology and an MBA in finance and marketing from the University of Chicago. She is an active member of the Economic Club of Chicago and the Urban Land Institute, where she serves on the Urban Development/Mixed Use Product Council.

Henry Mendoza

Henry “Hank” Mendoza has a 48-year history in banking, finance, real estate syndication and venture capital, and has founded or served in senior management roles at numerous entrepreneurial enterprises. He is a co-founder, Member, Principal and Chief Administrative Officer of Megalytics and a board member of several other companies.

He is an appointed Commissioner to the Affordable Trust Fund of the Illinois Housing Development Agency. His past civic leadership includes the Civic Consulting Alliance, Hispanic Housing Development Corporation, Adler Planetarium, Chicago Capital Fund, Chicagoland Enterprise Center, Chicago United, DePaul University, the Mayor’s Fellows Program, Northwestern Memorial Hospital and the Wieboldt Foundation.

Emad Malek

Emad is a career information technology executive whose work includes cutting-edge systems for Nortel, Motorola and Lucent, and executive technology and operations roles for major telecommunications businesses in Africa, Dubai, Dublin, the British Virgin Islands and Saudi Arabia.

He is a Harvard Business School alumnus, holds an Electrical Engineering degree and an MS in Computer Science from Dalhousie University, and is business-proficient in English, French and Arabic. His certifications include CISA, CISSP, PMP, OCP, Certified Java Programmer and Agile Scrum Master. He is also adjunct faculty in Software Engineering at DePaul University.

Retheesh P Pillai

Retheesh has more than 19 years of experience building software products and solutions across product discovery, R&D, emerging technologies, architecture, market analysis, product-market fit and technical strategy. His expertise spans product development, system architecture, full-stack development, project leadership, threat intelligence and cyber financial fraud.

He is pursuing a PhD in Banking Frauds, holds an MS in Cyber Forensics & Information Security, and has postgraduate qualifications in computer applications and business administration, as well as an LLB under the Bar Council of India.

Thomas earned an MS in Finance from the University of Notre Dame, specializing in quantitative methods for finance, advanced investment strategy and financial statement analysis. Dr. Cole is the Lynn Eminent Scholar Chaired Professor of Finance at Florida Atlantic University. After earning his PhD in Business Administration from UNC, he spent ten years in the Federal Reserve System and oversaw development of the Fed’s primary offsite bank-monitoring system and its 1993 Survey of Small Business Finances.

He has advised the International Monetary Fund, World Bank and central banks in developing countries on stress tests, financial stability indicators and monitoring systems. His widely cited research covers commercial banking, corporate governance, financial institutions, real estate and small-business finance, with work published in leading finance and real estate journals.

Geoffrey Hirt is Professor Emeritus of Finance at DePaul University and formerly chaired finance departments at DePaul and Illinois State University. He is a past president of the Midwest Finance Association, former editor of the Journal of Financial Education, and former Senior Vice President for Strategy and Planning and Director of Equity Research at Mesirow Financial.

He is the author or co-author of leading investment and financial management textbooks translated into 14 languages. He earned a PhD in finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, an MBA from Miami University and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Ohio Wesleyan University.

As President and COO of Brookfield Property Partners’ U.S. Office division, he had responsibility for a $27 billion, 60 million-square-foot portfolio, oversaw more than 30 million square feet of leasing, managed over 700 employees and an annual operating budget exceeding $1 billion in NOI.

He holds an MBA from American University and a BS in Business Marketing from the University of Maryland. He has served the Economic Club of Washington, Urban Land Institute, Lower East Side Tenement Museum, Robert H. Smith School of Business and advisory boards including Megalytics.

He serves on the MIT Technology Review Global Insights Panel, the CREtech Climate Leadership Board and multiple real estate technology advisory boards. He earned graduate degrees in real estate development and city planning from MIT and a JD from Suffolk University Law School.
